Absolute Survey was founded in 2010 with extensive survey practice in Verified Views Survey, Topographic Survey, Measured Building Survey, 3D Laser Scanning, Rights of Light and Underground Service Tracing we work on major redevelopment schemes for London councils and construction conglomerates.
History/Background
With over 40 years of survey knowledge and experience between the directors, in all fields of extensive survey practice. We have been involved in huge redevelopment schemes working on behalf of major London councils as well as large conglomerates within the construction industry. With our extensive knowledge of survey and using the latest survey methods, we provide our clients with reliable highly accurate 2D/3D data, at a competitive price to meet the needs of the design team.
Our specialist skills range from basic 2D survey plans such as underground service tracing to the latest cutting edge techniques such as 3D laser scanning. We also offer to our clients a range of AutoCAD solutions including 3D modeling and architectural plans, related to Ordnance Survey via GPS observations, cross-checked to local benchmarks.
Absolute Surveys strive to remain at the forefront of the Geometrics industry through continuing professional development through its devoted management team.
Providing reliable and highly accurate survey data using the latest methods in the industry.
In order to provide information at the planning stage for new developments, We are able to generate 3D Accurate View Representations (AVRs).
This process involves Surveying camera locations of which the AVR will take place and surveying accurate buildings, details and features within the photography in order control the photo alignment. We than produce 3D Autocad drawings of the surveyed area and create models. These are than used to test the alignment.
The impact of the proposed scheme is than assessed by inserting a 3D model into the Survey at its correct location and scale allowing the impact of the development to be assessed.
Measured Building Survey – We provide a comprehensive, cross-referenced set of plans which include dimensions of Floor Plans, Elevations and Sections of an existing building. The plans help our clients understand the dimensions of a building, for the purpose of design, useful for planning refurbishments and redevelopments.
Absolute Survey provide floor plans for any building from residential to larger more complex premises. All buildings are surveyed using survey equipment enabling us to fully measure the internal layout efficiently and accurately. The amount of information produced on elevation drawings varies from basic line work to full architectural detail.
Section drawings can be shown through any part of a building. Full architectural detail can be produced in elevation.
Absolute Survey Ltd undertakes topographical site surveys using the latest surveying equipment, enabling data to be recorded and processed efficiently and accurately. This requires gathering information through observations, measurement in the field, and data analysis in the support of planning, designing, and establishing of property boundaries. It involves the re-establishment of land boundaries if necessary/requested based on documents of record and historical evidence, as well as certifying surveys (as required by statute or Local ordinance) of subdivision plats/maps, registered land surveys. As well as providing mapping for planning permission, we can provide services such as underground service tracing and constructional setting out. For further please see the relevant categories.
At Absolute Survey in order to produce a thorough Rights of Light model using the latest in Survey equipment we combine 3 types of survey in order to produce the most accurate model for analysis purposes.
A 3D model is created using the final sets of plans, the internal are than added be-hing each window, this than allows for a rights of light analysis. They are usually required where a proposed development is likely to infringe on a neighbors right to light, and are used to ensure the development falls within legal requirements.
